The School Advisory Council (SAC) meeting originally scheduled for today, November 13, 2025, has been rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances.
The meeting will now be held on November 17, 2025, at 2:30 PM in the CES Media Center.
We appreciate everyone’s understanding and flexibility.

We’re excited to honor our local veterans with a special breakfast on Friday, November 7th, from 7:20–8:00am in the CES Cafeteria. 💙❤️

I have a few reminders and announcements to share. The 6th grade field trip to Pensacola NAS scheduled for tomorrow has been canceled and will be rescheduled. Teachers will provide updates on the new date at a later time. Additionally, it is Red Ribbon Week. I have attached another copy of our dress-up days schedule. Please note that on Friday, students are permitted to wear their Halloween costumes. However, blow-up costumes, weapons of any kind, accessories, or face coverings are not allowed. Thank you for your cooperation, and enjoy your week!

This is Laura Looze, Assistant Principal of Chumuckla Elementary School, with an important message for parents and families. We are conducting a lockdown drill at school today as part of our regular emergency drill process as required by state law. We know that drills can cause possible concerns for our students, but we believe it’s important for them to know exactly what to do in an emergency and these practice drills enhance their safety. Again, all students are safe, and this is simply a required lockdown drill. Thank you for your understanding and support.

All students, staff, and community members are encouraged to wear ORANGE to send a visible message of building CommUNITY through kindness, acceptance & inclusion to prevent bullying.
Reminder: Please remember to RSVP for Reading Isn't Scary Night on October 23, 2025!
Please note that RSVPs will close after tomorrow, Friday, October 17, 2025. Those who RSVP will receive a ticket on the night of the event and will have the opportunity to go through the RSVP line for pizza, ensuring a guaranteed slice.
